New Years was spent in Mammoth...we had a great time sledding, playing in some fresh snow and trying to catch snowflakes on our tongues!
Christmas was a blast this year! Ryde got lots of goodies, but keeping true to his name he liked the "ryde" on things the best!
We took a trip to Phoenix to visit some friends in Mid December and our lil' man got to go to the ZOO as well as play at the big park in Fountain Hills!

So, I have gotten a lil' grief for not posting some new pics up here, but I've been a lil' busy. Going to school and working has not allowed time for picture posting, but I'm here now so I will fill you in....Ryder has loved his summer even as hot as it is...he will play outside on his bike, or now skateboard ramp for hours and Nick just hoses him off every now and then. We have not been on the lake as much this year but Ryder still loves to go on the lake in his boat, but we have been able to spend some time at Grandma and Grandpa Lampi's house playing in the pool. The boy loves the water and goes into full meltdown when it's time to get out. "G" and MeMa Bliss have a new member to their toy family "Polaris Ranger" and have generously donated the "GC" to the Ryder Toy Fund.

His now favorite "Uncle Ed" brought this lil' 50 over to the house and it became Ryde's best friend!
Ryde loves the water and is doing really well at swimming in the pool...but the shorts way him down ;)

Ryde's first experience"beh- ind" the boat, went pretty well, but the water is still a touch cold so I think he'll relax a little better when it is warmer!

The day after the big bday bash we took grandpa Bliss' golfcart for a lil' spin down to the lake from our house!
We had a Birthday Party for Ryder and his friend Alexis! Ryder turning 2 and Alexis 3! The kids had a great time we rented a bouncing maze and Grandpa Bliss brought over his lifted Golfcart for Ryde (knowing he loves this thing) and all the neighborhood kids came over and rode on the track! It was a fantabulous time...in fact the kids were playing soo much it was dark by the time we blew out the candles on the cakes!
Ryde, Mommy and Lu went to Mammoth a couple weeks ago and Ryde was finally able to really enjoy the snow!

The bliss' went to the Parker 425 race last weekend to see a friend of ours race. Unfortunately, he broke down but it did make for a fun day anyway! Ryde loved to watch all the Rhino's - off road golf cart - and would get so excited we thought he was going to jump out of the car...so anyone looking to get him something for his birthday...all you need is a couple 10grand!

The Bliss' have been really great since Christmas! New Year's came and left with no drama....Ryde loves to play with all of his new toys everyday! we are really excited to get up to see Grandma and Grandpa Lampi to see all the new snow they just got!

Merry Christmas! The Bliss' Christmas started off a little rough but we made up for it! Ryde got lots of goodies....from bikes to trics to quads to swing sets and some musical instruments with misc. toys in between. The day after Christmas was very nice here in Havasu so we celebrated Christmas the 26th....

Ryde, Mom and Auntie Darcy went for a little hike down to Sara's Crack while Auntie came to visit us this past week!
Happy Halloween! Ryde had a pretty good Halloween although he was a lil' scared of some of the costumes he came across thru the day, therefore we only "trick or treated" at a few houses to keep the llil' man calm.

Back in the LHC where we are enjoying the drop in temps - if you can call low 100's a drop - Still love going on grandpa's boat and playing in the river. I guess we should enjoy this now before snowboarding season is upon us!!!
Well we spent Labor Day in Mammoth on a lil' camping trip. We had a blast playing tourist as we showed some friends around who had never been up there. Ryde loved his first camping experiece as he walked and walked around the campsite for hours upon hours.
A lil' day trip to Convict lake where we did a lil' fishing and Ryde wanted to swim so bad even though the water was very chilly for us Havasu locs!

While visiting Grandpa and Grandma Lampi we went for a hike up Rock Creek. It was beautiful and nice to get out of the heat for a little while.

Ryde is doing great! He has started going to a babysitter 2 days a week while mommy goes to work...They tell me he is doing great having fun jibber jabbering with the other kids.

So May was a big month... The Bliss' bought their first home!!!!! We moved in the beginning of May but it has taken us awhile to find all our belongings that had been in storage for the past 8 months. We are so happy with our lil' home. The backyard is full of sand that will hopefully turn into something beautiful one of these days but for now Ryder has the biggest sandbox a lil' boy could ask for!

Kahlua Bliss!!!
she really has been a great big sister......

So most of you know our lil' punkin had eye surgery on March 29th.
The lil' champion did great!!!
a lil' compative coming out of
anesthesia but recovered well.
He is now back to his old self
and causing Kahlua grief. Thank you for all the support we really do appreciate it.

A beloved friend and "Uncle" to Ryder Powell lost his life in a tragic accident 2 years ago -
this is his bench that we visit often and enjoy the memories....
We miss you Powell Dewey Williams!
The wheather is warming up here in the LHC and we have all been spending some much needed time at the pool. Ryde loves spending time in the water as long as he can touch the step! And thanks to his cousins and Aunties he looks pretty spiffy while soaking up the sun...with a good layer of Water Babies of course!
